NEESAM, TIMOTHY
Timothy Neesam's photographic images have appeared in a variety of magazines and newspapers ranging from the Toronto Star to the Indian Express. He has exhibited in Toronto's Contact festival annually since 2003. Timothy is a member of the Riverdale Artist's Network, and serves on the Board of Directors of Toronto's artist-run centre for photography, Gallery 44. While his work is varied in theme and scope, much of it deals with what he describes as interior landscapes, self-portraiture and our individual relationships with time and the spaces we inhabit.
Timothy is the co-ordinating producer for the arts and entertainment unit of CBCNews.ca and has worked as a producer and director on a wide range of arts and entertainment projects for CBC Radio, Radio 3, and CBC.ca. Born in Wales, and emigrating at an early age to Canada from Ireland, he has traveled to more than 30 countries in Africa, Asia and the Americas in the past decade.
